Ellerstina led throughout the game but an eighth chukker rally and a final goal from Adolfo Cambiaso gave them the 15-14 come-from-behind victory.

Ellerstina charged out to a commanding 12-1 lead after the first three chukkers and went on to win the second semifinal of the 2015 Hurlingham Open. They will play will play the defending champion, La Dolfina, in the final on Saturday.

La Dolfina continues to dominate play in the 2015 Hurlingham Open in Argentina, but loses 10-goaler Adolfo Cambiaso in the sixth chukker with an abductor muscle problem. Brazilian 8-goaler Rodrigo Andrade takes the field with La Dolfina who ride on to score a 16-10 victory.

Ellerstina seemed to get their offense back on track after an unimpressive, 15-13 opening tournament win over the 31-goal Magual team. Facundp Pieres seemed to be back at his super-human form and they appeared to work well as a team. Alegria had trouble with Magual, edging them by a single goal, 15-14 but should be up for next week’s game against Ellerstina for a berth in the 2015 Hurlingham Open final.

La dolfina continued to manhandle teams on their way toward a potential second triple crown of polo.

The 39-goal Ellerstina polo team struggled with the 31-goal Magual entry Wednesday afternoon before recording a 15-13 win. Alegria struggled with Chapaleufú in the second match of the day but rode off with a narrow 19-18 win.

La Dolfina opens their defense of the Hurlingham Open with a resounding win over Washington – whle La Aguada edges La Aguada Las Monjitas , 13-12 in the final chukker.

Adolfo Cambiaso and La Dolfina continue to dominate the Argentine polo scene. Cambiaso scored ten of his team’s 11 goals on the day and the La dolfina defense held Facundo Pieres to a mere four penalty goals over the course of the Tortugas Open final.

The 39-goal Ellerstina lineup rolled over La Aguada, earning them a berth in the fnal of the 2015 Tortugas Open, the first leg of Argentine polo’s Triple Crown.

The 40-goal juggernaut La Dolfina lineup destroyed Alegria in an 18-8 old fashioned beat down Saturday afternoon, earning a berth in the Tortugas Open final against the winner of Sunday’s tilt between Ellerstina and La Aguada.
